Often we have such great news that we want to share it with everyone. The blog section (currently under new development) was originally created to share those wonderful stories with you. Though, sometimes in our dealings with others we have come across some horror stories and felt the need to caution you to avoid certain situations that seem all too familiar with many in the bird world. General Information About our Babies:
All of our babies at Majestic Wings have been handfed (unless otherwise specified), closed banded, loved and spoiled beyond belief, well socialized and Abundance weaned* - Meaning, we let them wean when THEY want to on a large variety of seeds, Vegies, Fruits, legumes, Grains, among other fresh varieties of wholesome foods availableto them daily.We require the baby to be eating on it's own for a minimum of two weeks to avoid regression behavior and possible health risks. While your baby is weaning, we welcome and highly recommend that you come visit and bond with your new baby as it weans and even help in the care and feeding of your baby. It's a valuable learning experience and an enjoyable one too! Unweaned babies are sometimes sold, but to proven, experienced hand feeders only!!
THERE IS NO HEALTH GUARANTEE ON UNWEANED BABIES/BIRDS.
We will not ship ANY unweaned bird(s).

Each (regularly Priced) baby comes complete with:
A Health guarantee, Hatch certificate/Pedigree, Free bag of food and snacks.
A Care package with informational booklets/Pamphlets a mini carrier* & toy* to take him/her home in. (*If in stock) All of this at our prices can't be beat! We also have cages brand new and gently used available often to save you time and money.
DEPOSITS:
We strongly recommend putting a deposit down on the baby/bird you want. There are also wish/waiting lists you can ask to be added to in order to assure you get that special one in the event we plan on future availability. Contact us if you wish to do so.
Deposits are $30 for cockatiels and 1/3 total price for larger birds (Macaws, Greys, Amazons). In the form of cash, PayPal, check or money order to hold that special baby for you which is non-refundable but usually transferable (In case you change your mind and decide to take home a different available bird).
Payment in full must be received by or before pick-up of your baby.
If you have given us a deposit and plan to pay the remaining balance at pick-up you MUST BRING CASH. We will not let a baby go home with a check, money order etc. My apologies, but due to past experiences we have changed our policies in this matter.
ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. deposit is
required to hold each bird.
We do not normally accept deposits on Adult
Cockatiels or Lovebirds due to sale pricing,
unless otherwise stated in writing.

SHIPPING:
We do & have shipped on occasion, but prefer not to. Weather permitting, if we are unable to help you locate the same quality bird(s) in your area, we will work with you to bring one of ours to your home!
There is a flat rate fee of $150 to ship Cockatiels (Larger species are going to possibly cost more due to larger carrier required). This flat rate includes the carrier cost for small carriers. Another option is to send us the carrier along with your check or payment via Paypal. Once we recieve the carrier & payment we notify you to set up the Pre-paid flight arrangements & contact us back with details on time & date. In this case you only pay a small transport fee of $10 plus the cost of the bird(s) to Majesticwings. Any other fees (flight & carrier shipping) are between you, the airlines & package shipping company. The second option normally comes out cheaper for you & easier for us.

RETURN POLICIES
Refunds, Trades and/or Returns are done on a case by case basis due to health reasons of the birds residing here in our aviary. We do not typically accept birds back for refund, trades or other once they have left our aviary, without careful consideration (health checks etc.).. for the same reason .
Contact us if for some reason you cannot keep the bird(s) you brought home from us and we will help you in any way possible to ensure your bird has options for a happy healthy future. We hope you understand that these policies are only for the protection of our birds as well as yours. We cannot health guarantee our birds if we didn't adhere to strict 'introduction/reintroduction' policies into our aviary.
